Trachelospermum jasminoides, better known as False Jasmine or Star Jasmine, is a woody Chinese climber related to the periwinkle, famous for the penetrating spicy, sweet fragrance of its small white flowers. A little slow to establish, the plant develops long stems that quickly grow. Over time, its evergreen vegetation can cover more than 8 metres in all directions, in a favourable climate.
